Managing Talent and Skills Risks - Workforce Planning Exchange
As talent leaders evaluate the skills and capabilities their organizations need to be successful in the future, they must conduct a talent risk analysis and consider how to manage identified risks. This includes deconstructing work for each critical role and looking broadly at the talent supply chain to ensure that the organization has required skills when and where needed. Leaders should also assess where automation and/or AI can substitute, augment, or otherwise enhance human effort to complete tasks more efficiently. The meeting will review i4cp’s 7-Step Strategic Workforce Planning Process and dive into step three: risk analysis.
