Marshall Goldsmith Receives i4cp’s Industry Legend Award
Seattle, WA – Marshall Goldsmith, recognized as the world’s #1 leadership thinker and #1 executive coach, was presented with i4cp’s inaugural Industry Legend Award in appreciation of his outstanding contributions and commitments to the fields of human resources and leadership. He accepted the award following his closing presentation at the i4cp 2020 Next Practices Now Conference.
Dr. Goldsmith, a longtime contributor to i4cp, the company’s Chairman Emeritus, and a member of i4cp’s Thought Leader Consortium, is the author of three New York Times best-selling books and is the only person to be rated the Thinkers 50 #1 Leadership Thinker in the World… twice. He has been ranked as the World’s #1 Executive Coach and Top Ten Business Thinker for eight years in a row. He also was chosen as the first winner of the Lifetime Award for Leadership by the Harvard Institute of Coaching and is one of a select few executive advisors who has worked with over 150 major CEOs and their management teams.
“Marshall is the perfect recipient of our first-ever Industry Legend Award,” said Kevin Oakes, CEO of i4cp. “Marshall has had a positive impact on countless organizations and executives throughout his career, not to mention on me and our company. I am incredible honored to be able to present Marshall with this honor, one of many he has received throughout his illustrious career.”
At the i4cp 2020 Conference, Goldsmith was interviewed by Oakes and i4cp co-founder and futurist Jay Jamrog about leading in a time of crisis, among other issues. Goldsmith shared his insights to close out the conference, the most highly attended conference i4cp has ever held.
