The i4cp Next Practices Now Conference is Going Virtual

i4cp’s Next Practices Now Conference, the #1-rated event for HR executives, is going virtual in 2020. 

This year’s annual conference will feature live sessions showcasing top CEOs, CHROs, and thought leaders who represent some of the most progressive minds and organizations in the human capital field today.  It will also feature one of the largest gatherings of HR executives and human capital practitioners in a unique, networked environment. 

While attendees typically love the collegial environment of our annual conference, we made the tough but necessary decision to forego an in-person event this year due to the ongoing pandemic and to ensure the health and safety of our attendees. Next Practices Now will replicate that collegiality during a four day span, September 28 – October 1, 2020, with an expanded lineup of expert speakers and cutting-edge content, delivered in consumable time blocks.

The New (Not So) Normal

Since the beginning of March, we’ve been hosting daily calls with HR leaders from different functions to help organizations manage through this pandemic and prepare for a new (not so) normal future. We’ve also conducted close to 50 separate research projects to uncover new ways of working and have highlighted dozens of Next Practices which companies have implemented.  While these efforts have produced solutions for the present, they’ve also raised questions for the future which we will explore together during the conference, such as:

• What have we learned that we can replicate or expand?
• What are the next practices that have emerged in progressive organizations that should be implemented in the future?
• What haven’t we encountered yet that we need to prepare for in the new (not so) normal?

You’ll hear corporate executives from Microsoft, IBM, 3M, Patagonia, WPP, ServiceNow, Bank of America and many more share their experiences, as well as thought leaders including Tom Rath, Rob Cross, Elliott Masie, Marshall Goldsmith and others to be announced on what they see as key elements of the new (not so) normal. Additionally, i4cp experts will share insights and practices uncovered based on the research studies we’ve conducted—and on the thousands of global decision makers we’ve connected with—since early March.
