Human Capital Analytics Survey Results

Seventeen member companies discussed new survey research and shared insights on how to move forward with workforce analytics governance, financial analysis, and data management processes during our SWP-WAE joint exchange meeting last week. Results of the survey can be found here:  https://i4cp.com/member-contributed-documents/making-human-capital-analytics-work-preliminary-ins....

In an engaged dialogue, members stressed the need for developing critical partnerships among COE offices, operating leaders, financial teams and regional leaders to create "one common view." Effective HC analytics outcomes must be translated into dollars, members said. "Money is the great normalizer."

Members discussed practical methods of developing centralized data repositories, as well as the use of data aggregation tools. Yet more important, they said, was the need to drive a good governance model with standardized processes and a prioritization methodology (based on strategy). Many in the group said they were working on pilot projects such as new hire attrition and retention risk. (Survey participants cited learning and development, leadership, and engagement as top uses of HC analytics, suggesting an even broader field of talent planning analytics.)

Our next flash call meeting is scheduled for March 22 on assessing critical jobs. Additionally, we are meeting virtually to discuss predictive analytics on April 21. Don't miss out on the opportunity to share your issues and needs with your peers. Please let us know if you have trouble accessing the web site. Thank you and hope to see many of you at the upcoming i4cp conference.
