Report: The Inclusive Talent Pool: Employing People with Disabilities
One in five people of working age in the U.S. has a disability, yet despite massive talent shortages, the national unemployment rate for people with disabilities is nearly twice that of the broader population.
For people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) of working age, the unemployment rate is staggeringly high: 81%.
i4cp is honored to publish our follow-up to our groundbreaking and acclaimed 2014 study produced in partnership with Best Buddies International, Employing People with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. This follow-up explores progress in inclusive hiring since the first report was published:

- How the roles in which people with IDD are employed are evolving
- What inclusive workplaces look like, with examples and stories from leading organizations such as UPS, Boeing, JLL, Genentech, BNY Mellon, and more.
